In many ways, Boris Karloff's
name embodies all that the horror genre of his times has to offer, and rightfully
so. He is best remembered for his performance as the Frankenstein Monster,
but he also played a Dr. Frankenstein-like scientist who revives the monster
in "House of Frankenstein" and later, a descendant of Dr. Frankenstein in
the 1958 film, "Frankenstein 1970". He also portrayed another equally infamous
physician in "Abbott & Costello Meet Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde". And no one can
forget his interpetation of "The Mummy". But, in this Vampire's opinion, his
absolute best, most incredible performance, was his wonderful narration of
the animated classic, "How The Grinch Stole Christmas".
